Ti Kay Construction Experiments & Prototypes

~CORDAID/CARITAS~

Cordaid is building houses in two areas: the rural area near Leogane, close to the epicenter of the January 2010 earthquake, and the urban area of Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital.  Together with the local client community Cordaid defines criteria for selection of shelter recipients.  In practice this has meant that the local community selects the most vulnerable residents and ensures that they are the first ones to receive a house.
